I'm not sure. I think its Sirius, but he will be too ovious. I do think that he will come back though. Maybe not alive or as a human. I think that it has something to do with the mirror.

Well, we know it can't be Cedric Diggory, Frank Bryce, Bertha Jorkins, or Lily Evans Potter because we saw the spell that killed them. Someone pointed a wand, said "Avada Kedavra", and they died. Unless someone finds a way in the next 2 books to reverse death, these characters will not be coming back. James Potter- well, JKR has told us that we will not see a live Lily or James, but all we have to tell us that James is actually dead is, well, everyone's word. We never saw him die. I think we might, though, through some sort of flashback or something in book 6. As much as I would like him to come back, I find it highly unlikely that he will. Sirius Black- He's the one I'd vote most likely to return. No one knows what happens beyond the veil. Now, I know JKR said that she cried when she "killed" Sirius off. I'm sorry, but I don't think the knowledge of Sirius's eventual return would make his death scene much easier to write, especially with the impact it had on Harry. Also, if he DOES come back from beyond the veil, we don't have a clue how it will happen. What amouint of struggle and/or suffering would Sirius have to endure to get back? The knowledge of what goes on beyond the veil that Sirius will have to endure could also make it a very emotionally tough scene to write. JKR also said that she had a reason for "killing" him if we will just bear with it. I really don't see a reason why she had to "kill" Sirius off as of this point in the books. The only reason I can think of to "kill" him off would be to have him return, maybe even pull a Gandalf. Anyway, if it's not Sirius, then I would have to say that it's someone who we have not seen yet but who has been mentioned as dead, such as the Prewetts, the Bones, or other Order members. She could have been talking about a death that has not yet occurred, but will in the next book, though that won't have as much impact. Of course, someone we thought to be dead coming back may not be a good thing. A Death Eater who was killed the first time Voldemort was in power could make a return. Another option is Professor Quirrell. Voldemort said he, "left him for dead." He, therefore, didn't stick around to find out if he actually died or not. Dumbledore never said what happened to Quirrell. He only said he arrived in time to pull Quirrell off of Harry. Also, when Harry told Dumbledore that he was getting stronger, Dumbledore quickly said, "Voldemort?" as though he wasn't sure. Who else could be getting stronger? Quirrell, perhaps? Another thing to consider is what side he will take if he does come back. Will he go back to Voldemort, or will he join Dumbledore? Then again, when did JKR say this? Was it pre-GoF? If it was, then she could have just been referring to Barty Crouch, Jr., who everyone thought was dead but was really the second Azkaban escapee that we know of. Which makes me wonder, how many more are out there?
