[glow=blue,2,300]I made this thread because i wanted to see how many other people were as dissapointed with the third movie as I am. I was really expecting it to be a grand movie but I walked away very dissapointed at the quality of the whole thing.
First, what was that whole shabeale about Harry using magic? He not allowed to use magic outside of Hogwarts, but he used Lumos what...three times?
And why did they spped up all the events in the beginning of the movie?
Also, i thought it was stupid to change the theme of the Knoght bus. I like it better when everything was described as moving out of its way, not it moving out of the way. and what was that thing with the Jamacian shrunkin head?
I espically disliked how they dident wear their school robes and how Harrys partonus looked like a satillite dish. And isnt it supposed to be expecto patronus not patronum?
And why were the dementors flying? They are describes as gliding. But other than what looked like them trying to suck peoples face off, they were relatively ok.
And what was with all the scenes about the whomping willow in all the seasons and the extended scene in which harry rode buckbeak? And wasent their supposed to be more hippogriffs?
All in all i think the movie blew and that the director shouldent be able to direct another movie again.
Ive already stated somewhere else what i think about Gambon!![/glow]

well for the knight bus ..it was probably less expensive to have the bus itself move....
but the jamacin haed was stupid...and unneeded
the movie had to many things from the story in it that werent important and they didnt explain anything..they never tlaked abotu the prophecy...they never said naything about the mauraders
but the chior was dubm and a waste of time...and so was the whomping willow...
and the fact that there were barely any classes upset me...and the robes were bad too..the dementors arent supposed to fly and they didnt say much about harry hearing his parents....arghh it wasnt goood..glas there is a new director now!!

Ok, the things that I was thouroghly annoyed about was:
1. Harry geting the firebolt and the end, instead of fighting with Hermione about it.
2. Not explaining the mauraders
3. No quiditich cup
I don't know, maybe it was just me but the first one still annoys the heck out of me. I dont' know why but it does .

yeah same here...but the biggest one for me...is that there was barely any magic in the movies at all..and two of the spots there shouldnt have been magic anyway!!!

with me, the fact that there we many little things wrong with the movie, several of which have already been mentioned, made the movie a dissapointment for me.

i liked the third movie. The deal with the Womping willow changing was to show the seasons passing. I liked the new sets and stuff, though it was a little more difficult to figure where everything was in relations to it. Also, I don't think that Harry and Hermione's fight, though good in the book, would have tied up the movie to much; they absolutely needed the fight about Scabbers. So, whatever. You can't copy a book exactly for the movie.

TEXT I have to say that that disembodied head on the nigtbus was... :-/unesesary,yes i think that's the word.(agreeing with some one previous). The movie could have done fine without it.If they were trying to put humor in it,it didnt work. TEXTSorry Alfonso...

I guess that's what you get when you have an ex-porn director try to direct something as wonderful as Harry Potter. And by the way, why was everyone so dirty? It looked lke no one ever showered or cleaned their fingernails.

I noticed the dirty thing too! Especially when Dumbledore was looking at the Fat Lady's torn tapestry. His nails were just gross!!

Also when Hermione was using the time-turner. I mean, it had to be a director decision, cuz she's a girl, and we just don't like our fingernails dirty.(well, most of us) Everyone just looked so gross. Was it just me, or did everyone wear the same clothes throughout the whole movie?
